From the majestic peaks of the Alps to the sun-kissed shores of the Mediterranean, Europe is a sprawling continent full of diverse languages, cuisines, and traditions, seamlessly blending rich history with new adventure.
01
Europe is a good year round travel destination.
January-March marks the coldest months of the year. There are few tourists, and it is generally cold. Some countries are still warmer than others, (see Spain compared to the UK), however in general the days are shorter and it may be a good idea to bring a coat.
April-May gets warmer so you'll also avoid the crowds here. This, in my personal opinion, is the sweet spot. It is not overcrowded with tourists, not overly expensive, and not too hot.
From June-August, these are usually the summer months. There'll be a lot of tourists and prices are high. However, it's warm and the days are long - perfect for beach days and long day outs.
September-December are usually the coldest months of the year. There won't be as many tourists and the prices will be lower. There's still plenty to see and do, (see OktoberFest in Germany or the Christmas Markets celebrated in many European countries).

Europe has a plethora of hidden gems and iconic attractions alike:
Eiffel Tower, Paris: One of the most iconic landmarks in the world.
Colosseum, Rome: One of the most famous landmarks in Italy, the Colosseum is a testament to the power and grandeur of the Roman Empire.
Sagrada Familia, Barcelona: A stunning basilica designed by the famous architect Antoni Gaudi, the Sagrada Familia is one of the most famous landmarks in Spain
But if you're wanting to explore beyond this, (you've come to the right place) here are some unique places in Europe:
Porto Santo Island, Portual- For fresh seafood and long beach days.
Cornwall, Durham & York England- If you're looking for the British experience when you think of Britain, one with rolling cottages, cathedrals, castles and rich history, you'll love these cities.

Europe has everything. If you're looking for nightlife, places like Berlin in Germany and London in the UK boasts exceptional clubs and loads of bars and pubs.
If you are wanting history, every country in Europe will have something to offer, from museums to entire cities with history bursting at every corner.
If you like nature, you'll have sailing, hiking, and sight-seeing at your fingertips here. And if you're a lover of food and good wine, Europe, especially Southern Europe (Italy, Greece, Portugal to name a few) will have you covered.
